We started around 1pm with a boat ride to Banco Chinchorro, stopping for a short swim in what can be best described as a living aquarium, a tour of the island and meeting people dedicated to the preservation of this amazing place, followed by meeting local fishermen and seeing some of the salt water crocodiles.
But our day wasn't done yet, time for a sunset tour of the mangroves and some up-close encounter with frigate birds.
Our day still isn't done yet...
There is so much beauty all around us that at times it can be overwhelming. I will continue to show the beauty of our world and be a vocal advocate for our environment, planet earth, our home.
