BEE'S....MILLION YEARS OF EVOLUTION (+playlist)
For millions of years bee's have been crucial to the survival of our planet and all living things. Today bee populations have collapsed, bee colonies have vanished.
Plants are genetically altered like the round up resistant canola, plants with 'terminator' genes so the seeds are useless. Bees are dying from a toxic soup of pesticides and fungicides in the pollen.
Modern technology is changing the planet for good, there will be no putting the genie back in the bottle. Still there is something special about watching bees on a flower like it is meant to be.
All sequences were filmed on September 20 and 22 at the Summerhill Pyramid Winery in Kelowna, the winery is government certified ORGANIC. The bee's like it that way.

Frog - Kane Valley British Columbia - YouTube
I AM the Frog Whisperer! LOL So what happened was, I was walking along the edge of the water to be able to film the water lily and was startled by this frog who hopped away to avoid meeting my sandal! She posed at the lily for me, then swam back right by me again!! Even let me pick her up.

Alberta Flood Price Gougers - WTF?
So now the true color of some of the Calgary Entrepreneurs' is coming out..Price gouging is against the law but it happens every time there is a major emergency, only thing is we used to see this south of the border so it's like a 'shock' when we see it here in Canada.
Alberta Flooding June 2013 Tarsands Connection
We might not be able to say definitively that there is a connection between the Alberta flooding of 2013 and carbon emission, climate change but I don't think anyone can say that there isn't.
The jet-stream is going wonky (scientific term). Pollutants from Asia drift over to North America in approx. 5 days. I believe that all the major climate events are connected to global warming and man's output of carbon and use of fossil fuel.
The costs of this are already mounting in human cost, loss of life and in financial cost of rebuilding and preparing for further and worse events to come.
Make the industries pay for their part in this. Better yet stop the proliferation of fossil fuel.
